remake software package provides GNU make fork with improved error reporting and debugging, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install remake
remake is installed in your system.
Make ensure the remake package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep remake *
You will get with remake package name, version, architecture and description in a table
